Dear Valued Customers,
According to the recent information from Journal of Commerce and news on Feb 6th, 2015 (attached),
West Coast Port will be suspended for vessel loading and unloading operation on the weekend of Feb 7th and 8th.
Due to the worst congestion in the history, Pacific Maritime Association (PMA) have decided to suspend their operation to clear the congestion and they will still maintain the gate and yard operation.
During the negotiation this week, PMA have offered the best contract by providing 100% medical cost and increase in pension and wage.
International Longshore and Warehouse Union (ILWU) also said the contract seems favorable. 
Terminals will resume loading and unloading vessels on Monday (Feb 9th) and the negotiation will be continued next week.
We hope to see the progress of the negotiation and congestion soon.

서부항만 관련 업데이트 – 서부항만 주말 폐쇄 관련
안녕하세요?
첨부와 같이, 2015년 2월 6일Journal of Commerce 의 보도자료에 의하면, 이번 주말 (2월 7일 & 8일) 동안 서부항만 폐쇄 소식을 발표하였습니다.
계속 되어진 심각한 적체 상황으로 인하여 쌓여가는 Container 들을 조금이라도 덜어보고자,
주말동안 Vessel Loading / Unloading 작업 중단한다고 발표 하였으며, 터미널 gate 및 yard operation 은 계속 진행한다고 하였습니다.
이번주에 진행되었던 협상 관련 안으로, 태평양해사협회 (PMA)에서 최고의 조건으로 100% 의료보험비와
파격적인 연금 제도 및 연봉 인상을 내걸으며, 국제항운노조 (ILWU)에서도 긍정적인 입장을 반응을 보이고 있다고 합니다.
계약 협상은 다시 계속 이어질 것으로 보이며, loading & unloading 작업이 다음주 월요일 (2월9일)부터 다시 시작될 것이라 합니다.
